Qualitas is pleased to announce that the Qualitas Real Estate Income Fund (ASX: QRI) has recently completed the 2020 rating review for BondAdviser and Independent Investment Research (IIR). This follows the success of a reaffirmed “Approved” rating from Zenith in June 2020.

QRI has been trading for almost two years and has delivered attractive risk-adjusted returns whilst preserving investor capital. Qualitas is pleased that both research houses continue to endorse QRI since its IPO in November 2018.

BondAdviser recommends QRI for yield seeking investors comfortable with exposure to the CRE private debt market and has assigned an “Approved” rating. BondAdviser believes the specialised nature of CRE debt and portfolio diversification that QRI offers optimises its risk-return profile. Please click here to view the report.

IIR reaffirms QRI’s “Recommended” rating and based on discussions with the Manager it believes QRI is very well positioned not only to withstand the risks in the CRE lending market, but will also benefit from the opportunities that are presenting in the market. In respect of QRI’s unit price during COVID-19, IIR considers that retail investors are pricing QRI on the same risk basis as the broader equities markets, which is highly conservative given in the capital stack, equity risk is significantly greater compared to senior loans.
