NEWS: QRI enters ASX300 & ASX300 A-REIT indices

We are pleased to advise that S&P Dow Jones Indices have announced that the Qualitas Real Estate Income Fund (ASX:QRI) will enter the ASX300 and ASX300 A-REIT indices effective on 18 September 2023. The inclusion will result in an expanded investor universe with the potential for increased liquidity.

This follows S&P’s classification of QRI as a Mortgage Real Estate Investment Trust (MREIT), making it the only MREIT in the ASX300 and ASX300 A-REIT indices. A MREIT provides loans to borrowers secured by real property as opposed to taking an equity stake in property like an A-REIT.

In 2018 we launched QRI to democratise access to commercial real estate private credit for retail investors, an investment strategy predominantly only accessed by institutional investors. QRI not only provides portfolio diversification, but also aims to achieve a target rate of return between 5% and 6.5% above the RBA cash rate (net of fees and expenses) to deliver monthly cash income^ to investors.
