MEDIA RELEASE: Qualitas targets Queensland growth with new appointment

Leading Australian alternative real estate investment manager Qualitas Limited (ASX: QAL) announces the appointment of Anthony Perry as Head of Origination for Queensland, as the company moves to capitalise on one of Australia’s strongest and fastest-growing property markets.
The appointment comes as Queensland, particularly South East Queensland, continues to demonstrate robust market fundamentals driven by sustained population growth, major infrastructure investment, and increasing offshore capital interest in the region’s development opportunities. Queensland now represents a significant portion of Qualitas’ lending book, with 19% of the firm’s invested FUM exposure in the Queensland market1.
Mr Perry brings over 20 years’ experience in institutional property finance, most recently spending 11 years in senior roles in the Institutional Property Group of a major Australian bank, where he managed a lending book of approximately $3 billion. A Chartered Accountant, his background spans structuring and funding large-scale, complex property transactions, debt advisory, private equity, and funds management, with experience across both domestic and international markets.

Mr Perry will be based in Brisbane, along with Director Sam Michael to lead Qualitas’ Queensland origination activities, with the majority of activity concentrated in South East Queensland.
